Wazu ke Faraiz : 4 وضو کے فرائض

Wazu ke Faraiz are important To offer every prayer Whether it is Wajib or Sunnah, Or to touch any Quranic verses. Firstly, do your ablution. And to perform ablution(وضو) there are some duties of ablution. And if you do not perform these duties, then your ablution is not correct. Due to which your actions i.e., prayer etc. will not be correct. Therefore, it is very essential for you to know the duties of ablution.

There are total 4 obligations of ablution. If you do not pay those, you will not perform ablution.

Wazu ke Faraiz

There are total 4 obligations of Wazu. Their names are as follows

1. Intention of wazu (ablution) : وضو کی نیت
2. Wash the entire face : پورا چہرہ دھونا
3. Wash both hands, including elbows : دونوں ہاتھ کہنیوں سمیت دھونا۔
4. Anointing the head and feet : سر اور پاؤں کا مسح کرنا

Intention of wazu : وضو کی نیت

Before performing (ablution) wazu, you can say this dua

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي، وَوَسِّعْ لِي فِي دَارِي، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِي رِزْقِي

English Translation!

‘’O Allah! Forgive my sins, and widen my home, and give barakah in my rizq’’

Urdu Translation!

اے اللہ، میرے گناہوں کو بخش دے، میرے لیے میرے گھر کو کشادہ کر، اور میری روزی میں برکت عطا فرما۔

You can recite this after performing (ablution) wazu, 

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ، وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ المُتَطَهِّرِينَ

English Translation!

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.

Oh God, make me among those who repent, and make me among those who purify themselves.

Urdu Translation!

میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں وہ اکیلا ہے اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ محمد اس کے بندے اور رسول ہیں۔

اے اللہ مجھے توبہ کرنے والوں میں سے بنا اور مجھے پاکیزگی کرنے والوں میں شامل کر۔

Wash the entire face : پورا چہرہ دھونا

the first faraiz from wazu k faraiz is Washing the whole face means washing the part of the face from the tip of the hand, which is the biggest finger, to the tip of the thumb. The caution is that the hand should also hit the sides of the face.

Wash both hands, including elbows : دونوں ہاتھ کہنیوں سمیت دھونا

Wash both hands, including elbows means Firstly, you have to wash the right hand including the elbow, then the opposite hand and be careful not to leave any place dry.

Anointing the head and feet : سر اور پاؤں کا مسح کرنا

The wazu Faraiz is after washing both hands, you should now wipe your head and feet. You are the first to anoint the head. Three fingers of your right hand should be brought to the roots of the head hair so that water gets there. To wipe the feet, you should bring the same hand from the tip of the toes to the ankles. Conclusion

If Ghusal is obligatory on you, then perform Ghusal instead of Wazu because Ghusal is obligatory.
